The GVM prediction shows a continued decline in the YOY Core PCE through the summer leading to an apparent leveling in the Fall of 2010. The actual published YOY Core PCE changes continue to follow the trend predicted by the GVM. Those who are waiting for emerging inflation will need to continue their anticipation with great patience and creative explanations.

EDWARD BREEN was a long-time friend and confidant of Jude Wanniski. He served as a director of Mr. Wanniski's consulting enterprise, Polyconomics, Inc.
